One more day of work.
One more day of cubicle life.
One more day of wearing a "GOVERNMENT IDENTIFICATION" Badge (which, by the way, "authorizes employees of this organization to receive Government rates for lodging, airfare, car rentals, and various discounts." – I've not actually used this perk, but it still sounds impressive.)
One more day of holding a real job in the real world making real money.
I'll hate to see them end.
But they will. And I will move forward. I will attend student teaching seminars, gather materials for my classroom, and meet mentor teachers. All exciting tasks, all a bit intimidating. Before the school year makes it full swing, however, I am off on an adventure of my own. A week spent here and here. With her and her husband and him and her. What fun.

whoop it up on your last day of work.
The government rates are great. Too bad you didn't get a chance to travel on behalf of the government to experience all the discounts.
I enjoyed having you work for me. You will be missed.
I think I said you could do the job without any problems. I think I said you would do well. I think maybe I'm right sometimes. Well, maybe only when it comes to you but sometimes roomie, I can be right. Please listen sometimes, I'll give to ya straight(roll your eyes and say "oh brother" like I know you want to). Miss me. 9/29, I'll be seeing ya.
