This is my prayer for the summer Lord. Hear my heart's cry.
Make me, Lord.
Make me your hands, Lord, that I might do good works for your kingdom, for your glory and honor. That I might be pierced as your were - agony searing through you.
Make me your feet Lord, that I might walk to spread the good news of the gospel. That I might have nails driven in me for the privilege of suffering for you.
Make me your eyes Lord, that I might be blind to the things of this world. Let me see as you do - seeing good in all and looking beyond the outer shell.
Make me your ears Lord, that I might listen to those in need of a friend. Let me be satisfied with being silent instead of always offering an answer.
Make me your lips Lord, that I might speak only kind and uplifting words. Help me to speak words of encouragement and please Lord, shut me up when I don't.
Make me your mind Lord, that I might have wisdom and knowledge to help those in need. To know when to respond and to live as you would have me.
Make me your heart Lord, that I might love as you do. That I might learn the meaning of true and pure love, and that I might exercise that knowledge.
Make me yours Lord, that I might belong to you, that I might surrender everything to you. Lord - take my heart and form it, take my mind - transform it, take my will - conform it, all so that I might be yours Lord.
Make me, Lord - Make me yours.
