berry pickin'

I visited a friend today - helped her pick cukes, gather eggs, milk goats, and prepare dinner. As you can surmise from the picture above, we also picked berries - all day, all kinds, in every place imaginable. We picked blackberries along sugarbush roads, in cow pastures, and near family camping grounds. We picked raspberries from rows in a garden and blueberries from a cultured patch in the yard. I had a blast and was sent home with some of the spoils. Too fun.

*free note to various readers - picking blackberries in shorts and a tank top is not recommended - take my word for it. =)
