Dominican night

The cool night air envelopes me as a gecko scales the cedar railing to my right - his collage of greens and browns scurrying along the white corner beam. I relax - quietly undulating, encased in the coarsely entwined fibers of a locally-made hammock. A frog croaks, crickets chirp, wasps buzz by - all joining the peaceful melody that sings of the Lord's majesty.

This makes me think... I want to praise the Lord for his beauty and majesty; I don't want the rocks crying out in my name. And so I leave you with a few glimpses of his amazing creation.
