teaching...

Today:

  • One of my students peed all over the bathroom walls, floor, and toilet
  • Another student spent 35 minutes crying and screaming because he hated school
  • I carved pumpkins with seventeen students
  • A student brought in cupcakes for me
  • My teacher surprised me with a “good luck” cake
  • Every student hugged me and gave me a thank-you card
  • A student cried because I will not be back tomorrow
  • Was my last day as a student teacher in second grade…

…what a day it was.

Hey, I don't what I was thinking but I can't come on to basic on Friday but...I will be up again the 17th and 18th for an all county music festival.
Did, I mention all the stupid assigments that I no longer have to do? Life in Mus Ed. I gotta tell ya, it's pretty stinkin good. See you in a few weeks. Oh yeah, I have to come up in December for my last NYSTCE. I passed the last two, and without studying! Wow, I must be wicked smart...oh wait, just normal. How much did you sell those review books for? Should this be a personal e-mail so that the world doesn't know how much I tease you? Nah, let the world know. Renee, will you help me study for this last test? I know how much that review book helped you and since I can't use it because you sold it I think you should help me. In case you haven't figured this out, this is very long. You miss me don't you. You can almost hear my voice while your teaching..."Renee, proof my post and tell me if it works." Have you noticed that my post aren't as good now that I'm gone? I guess some things aren't as dumb when you're not around...I mean that in the best way ; )
Have I annoyed you yet?
Good. I dunno. I'm tired.
out.
