murphy

It's my experience that Murphy's Law is always-100% completely-without-a-doubt true whenever you desperately need to get something done or be somewhere. Take today for example...well, let’s start with yesterday afternoon. My math teacher decided to finally let us know how to complete a lesson plan for her class. Keep in mind that we were given exactly 48 hours to complete this project. Of those 48 hours, I had to eat, sleep, read, work, go to class, and complete my other homework. That left me with around three hours last night, and five hours today. Well, as you might expect, I was unable to work on the project last night because we needed to follow her example and go figure, we didn't have it. I emailed her and in accordance with the law, there was no response until around 9:30 this morning. I finished homework for today first and began the lesson plan at 10:00. To my detriment, the fire alarm went off at 10:15 - what a surprise, huh? We were finally allowed into the building at 10:30 and fifteen minutes later I had to pack up and head off to my class.

After spending every free moment working on this today, I was excited to post it to the necessary webpage. But, oh, there seems to be problem - how ironic. I email the teacher once again and let her know that I cannot find there area to post my work. After an hour and a half of waiting for a response, she sends an attachment with the results. I'll bet you can't guess what happens next in this happy little reflection ... yup - the attachment won't open. So - another email, another hour and half and finally the directions come. My life for the past 30 hours has been this lesson plan. Isn't there something wrong with that?

I should probably let you know that it all ended well - I finally enrolled in the program, finished the lesson plan, and posted it to the correct area. No worries. Well - not now that it's done. =)

Oh yeah - please forgive the sarcasm ... I get sarcastic when I am frustrated. Have a nice day!
