Renee

Ever notice how the song "Ole, ole, ole, ole...ole...ole" works all too well with the words "Renee, Renee, Renee, Renee...Renee...Renee?" No? Come to Beaver Camp on any given day and you're sure to hear it. A kind gentlemen who works here decided to teach the song to the campers and, consequently, every staff member knows it by heart.

Here are a few tips the staff would like you to know before singing this song:
  1. only sing it when it is convenient...perhaps when Renee is trying to make an announcement, or when she eating, or, better yet, during the friday program in front of an audience of campers and parents.
  2. only sing it a limited number of times...perhaps twice a meal per day, or only when she enters a room - about ten times per day is sufficient.
  3. only sing it when Renee doesn't get embarassed by it...perhaps giving a countdown to the time of singing would help...or be random as that works too.
  4. only sing it when the weather is right...perhaps in rain or sun, hot or cold, mostly during the summer, but winter acoustics are fine.
  5. and MOST IMPORTANTLY...never stop singing it! Renee loves this song - whenever, wherever, and by whomever.
So yeah - that is the Renee song and the summer has been full of it. Eventually she will gain enough courage to do something spastic and creative when it is sung, but until then, the song rages on.

Disclaimer:
You'll have to forgive my sarcastic tone, but you gotta love camp staff, right?
